About the Neighborhood The Bluffs of Wilson Creek Community is located at the foot of North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains, 30 minutes from Blowing Rock, and an hour and 15 minutes from Asheville. The Neighborhood is uniquely designed for those with a great appreciation for outdoor life and breath taking scenery. It is a rare find, with land that either borders or offers deeded access to the Pisgah National Forest, as well as amazing views of Grandfather Mountain, towering above beautiful creeks and rivers. The neighborhood is a short 5 minute drive from 49,000 acres of wilderness which comprise the Wilson Creek recreational area. Wilson Creek is one of North Carolina’s most pristine and rugged terrains. Camping, kayaking, hunting and fishing, waterfall hikes, off-road driving, and mountain biking are available in selected areas.
